3.3.1 Starting the review software
Access
OptosAdvance
using any standard web browser, see Review client properties on page 49.
3.3.1.1 How to start the application
1. Use your web browser to go to the address provided by your System Administrator.
2. Enter your username and password, then select Login.
3. You can now search for a patient.
You can also run the
OptosAdvance
1. Double-click the desktop icon
2. Log in using your username and password.
3.3.2 Reviewing patient images and scans
Captured images and scans are displayed using the

to run OptosAdvance.
2. Log in using your username and password.
3. Select the patient.
4. Select the image or scan to be reviewed.
5. Adjust the study layout and views as required.
6. Compare results across studies if required.

3.3.3 Exiting the review software
To leave OptosAdvance, select

To ensure continuous and efficient operation, you should be familiar with additional features of the system.
Access to the Administration functions is restricted to users with administrative privileges.
3.4.1 Managing user details
You are responsible for the security of user accounts and the maintenance of password
security.
CAUTION
The ability to create a user account is restricted to System Administrators.
3.4.1.1 How to create user accounts for use on the scan head
Scan head user accounts
1. Login to the image server's user management application.
2. Enter the details for the new user and select if they will be an Administrator or Operator.
