Starting and driving the vehicle

System start-up
When the ignition key is turned to position II the gearshift display A
and all its segments, as well as the relevant failure warning light B turn
on. The warning light will turn off if no problems are detected within a
few seconds.
The gear currently engaged will remain highlighted on the display.
When the driver-side door is opened, the "F1" system pump activates for
several seconds; this function allows the system to be ready for operation when
the ignition key is inserted.
The failure warning light B may also flash for a short time (10 sec.) and then
turn off: the system is completing the "start-up" phase and will then function
correctly.
Avoid entering any commands in the system during this stage.
