Engine malfunction alarm devices
If the "engine control system failure" warning light flashes or is
permanently on when the engine is running, the engine or emission
control systems may be malfunctioning.
The electronic system detects and isolates the error, preventing damage
to the engine or the production of harmful emissions.
When the warning light "Engine control system failure"
comes on, engine performance may be considerably
reduced.
