4.3.8.1 Auxiliary functions
• Prewash
A pre-wash is only useful if the laundry is very dirty. Not using the pre-
wash will save energy, water, detergent and time.
• Express+
After selecting a programme, you can press the Quick wash setting button to shorten
the duration of the programme. The duration of some programs can be shortened by
50%. Despite this, the washing performance is good thanks to the modified algorithm.
Although it varies for each program, when you press the Quick wash button
once, the program duration decreases by a certain level, and when you press
the same button a second time, it goes down to the minimum level. For better
washing performance, do not use the Quick Wash setting button when
washing heavily soiled laundry.
Shorten the program duration using the Quick wash button for medium and
lightly soiled laundry.
• Steam
Use this program to reduce creases and ironing time for a small amount of
stain-free cotton blends or synthetics.

When you activate the steam function, do not use liquid detergent if the product does not
have a liquid detergent dispenser or liquid dosing function. Otherwise, stains may form on
the clothes.
• Remote control
You can use this auxiliary function button to connect the product to smart
devices. Detailed information can be found in section 4.3.15 HomeWhiz
function and remote control.
• Personalized program
This auxiliary function can only be used for Cottons and Synthetics programs
with the HomeWhiz app. When this auxiliary function is activated, you can
add up to 4 auxiliary rinsing steps to the program. You can select and use
auxiliary functions even if they are not on your product. You can increase
and decrease the duration of the Cottons and Synthetics programs within a
safe range.

When the Custom Program auxiliary function is selected, the washing performance and
energy consumption will be different from the declared value.
