4.2 Preparation
4.2.1 Sorting laundry
• Sort the laundry by type of fabric, colour, degree of soiling and permissible water temperature.
• Always follow the instructions on the labels of your clothes.
4.2.2 Preparing laundry for washing
• Items with hardware such as underwired bras, belt buckles or metal
buttons will damage the machine. You can remove the metal parts or
wash these clothes by putting them in a laundry bag or pillowcase.
• Empty pockets of all foreign objects such as coins, ballpoint pens and paper
clips. Turn them over and brush. Such objects can damage your machine or
cause noise.
• Put small clothes such as children's socks and nylon stockings in a
laundry bag or pillowcase.
• Put the curtains in the device without compressing them. Remove the fasteners from the
curtains.
• Close zippers, sew on loose buttons, then mend flaps and tears.
• Wash products labeled "machine washable" or "hand washable" only with an
appropriate programme.
• Do not wash colors and whites together. New, dark-coloured cotton laundry
may rub off strongly. Wash them separately.
• Difficult stains must be properly treated before washing. If
unsure, consult a dry cleaner.
• Only use dyes/colour changers and descalers suitable for the washing
machine. Always follow the advice on the packaging.
• Wash pants and delicates inside out.
• Put the Angora laundry items in the freezer compartment for a few
hours before washing. This precaution will reduce pilling.
• Laundry heavily stained with dirt such as flour, lime dust, milk
powder, etc. must be shaken before being introduced into the
machine. Over time, such dusts and powders can form on the internal
surfaces of the machine and cause material damage.
