A typical programming of the control panel i defined CONTROL-BY-EVENT EQUATION (CBE).
During the programming it is necessary to associate to every point, zone or group a CBE equation.
The CONTROL-BY-EVENT equation allos the programming a some conditions that the control panel will
value when the point, the zone or the group are actived, ant will execute the programmed actuations.
To define those conditions it is necessary to compose the CBE equation using the logical users (OR, AND,
XGRP, NOT, DEL, SDEL and TIM).
The "ACTIVE" condition is valid when:
Input point (detectors and input modules) = in Alarm
Output point (output module) = ACTIVED
Group = one point of the group is active
The control equations, to be valid and accepted by the control panel, have to follow precise syntax rules.
If there is a syntax mistake, the CBE equation is refused.
The logical users (OR, AND, ...) that count for more operands, have to be written following this
procedure:
The NOT logical user is valid only for one operand, it has to be writen before the relative operand.
If we use more users, the first character of the equation has to be the open bracket and the last one has
to be a closed bracket.
Example :
(USER(OPERAND- 1 OPERAND-2 ...)USER(OPERAND- 1 OPERAND-2 ...))
Note: A programmable CBE for CMX modules (output modules), contains the the address of the
devices that will acticate them, they can be detectors, input modules, groups.
If the activation of the module has to happen for a combination of various objects, it is necesasry to
use the AND, OR, and so on users.
A programmabel CBE for detectors and MMX modules (inputs modules), contains the address of the
devices to be activated in case of alarm, they can be output modules or groups.
If it is necessary to activate a serie of objects it is necessary to write them in sequence, without any
user.
The following format is possible:
For example: AND(G1G2)OR(G3AND(G4G5))
Like: 1- if both the G1 and G2 groups are active
2 - or
3 – the G3 group is active and both the G4 and G5 groups are active
Note: it is necesasry to write the equation without spaces between the characters.
