Clearing Diagnostic Counts (CLEAR)

After commissioning or testing is complete, you can use the CLEAR command to reset the diagnostic count
values—shown in the diagnostic summary—to zero. That way, if you ever need to use the DIAG command
to view diagnostics, the values will not reflect any errors received during commissioning or testing.
To clear the counts in the diagnostic summary:
Type one of the following and press ENTER:

Checking RF Energy Levels (ENERGY)

If manually selecting a channel for wireless communications, you can use the WRS to check the RF energy
levels on all the channels—including energy from Wi-Fi networks. Keep in mind that the WRS provides a
snapshot of the current values, which can change as wireless devices are added and removed. If the
wireless link experiences communication problems later on, checking the RF energy levels may help to
determine if the RF energy is too high on that channel.
To check RF energy levels, type ENERGY and press ENTER at the WRS HMI prompt. The scan takes
about 30 seconds to complete.
When reviewing the scan results, note that the more negative an energy value, the lower the detected
energy level is for that radio channel. For example, an –87 reading indicates a lower energy value than –42.
