Possible Cause
Sealing ring not installed
properly
The floater valve clamps the
push rod
Float valve is in the popped-
up position
Pressure exists inside the
cooker
Sealing ring installed

Food debris attached to the
sealing ring
Sealing ring damaged
The lid is not closed correctly
Food debris on the float valve
gasket
Float valve gasket worn-out
Too little food and water in
inner pot
Steam leaks from the lid or
exhaust valve
Steps to Resolve
Correctly position
the sealing ring
Lightly push the
push rod
Press the float
valve lightly using
a chopstick or
similar utensil.
Open the lid after
the pressure is
completely
released.
Install the sealing
ring correctly
Clean the sealing
ring
Replace the
sealing ring.
