Warning on Opening the lid
• When the electric pressure cooker is not operating, there is no pressure in the pot
and the float valve is down.
• When the electric pressure cooker is operating, pressure in the cooker rises and the
float valve rises: do not open the lid before the pressure has been completely
released.
• If it is difficult to open the lid, do not force it open; otherwise, it may cause scalding
or physical injury.
