Install the Application Download the “Kogan Smarter Home” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Register If you do not have a Kogan Smarter Home account, register or sign in with a verification code sent by SMS. To Register 1. - Page 5 5. After successfully configuring the devices, the device will be shown on the home page. Tap to enter its control page. Note • When device is online, it can be controlled.

When device is offline, it displays “Offline” and cannot be remotely powered on. Google Home Control Note: You will need to have set up a Google Home account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome device. 1. Select “Menu” and then “Home Control”. -

Add and Manage Device Assign Room Update Home Control Alexa Note: You will need to have set up an Alexa account prior to linking your Kogan SmarterHome device. 1. Select “Menu” and then “Skills”. 2. Search for the app and enable it. - Page 8 3. Log into your SmarterHome account with your email address or mobile number. 4. Select “Discover Devices” and the app will begin searching. 5. When successfully linked, you will see a list of connected Kogan SmarterHome devices. You can now control your Kogan SmarterHome devices through Alexa with your voice.

Voice Commands • Turning on the sous vide: “Hey Google/Alexa, turn on sous vide” • Turning off the sous vide: “Hey Google/Alexa, turn off sous vide” Installation Install the Skirt Hold the unit and align the unlocking symbol and the arrow, rotate skirt in anti-clockwise direction until you can see the arrow and locking symbol are in the same horizontal position. -

Operation Using the Sous Vide Sous Vide cooker requires a 6-15L round, rectangular or other different container or pot. Firmly lock the product by clamping it on the side of your container. Setting Temperature/Timer: 1. Plug it into the outlet. The number icon will flash and red LED lights on and it will enter the standby mode. - Page 11 TIP: As all sous vide cookers operate by heating a water bath to a set temperature, all recipes you find for sous vide cooking can be used with your KOGAN sous vide cooker. - Page 13 Recipes When you select the recipes on the app, the selected recipes will automatically select the temperature and cooking time for user. For example, when you select recipe “egg”, you’ll see below page on your phone, When you select “Japanese-style Sous vide poached eggs”, you’ll see the description, ingredients and directions.
- Page 14 Press “start”, it will go to the homepage and then press power button to start working.
- Page 15 Homepage will show the time, temperature of the recipes, also the sous vide display will show the time/temperature as well. Press power button,work status change to working and sous vide display show the current temperature of water and remaining time. ----The sous vide will start working as per selected recipes.

Work Panels Cleaning & Care Always turn off and unplug the unit, when the unit is out of order. Maintenance work must be performed by certified personnel only. Make sure system is at room temperature, check for signs of damage including pulled cord or physical damage to system or heaters. -
