Unit can run, but
does not cooling (or
heating
)
Fan does not run.
Compressor does not
start up (Output
signal is normal)
Refrigerant is insufficient or leaking
Refrigeration system is blocked
Too much refrigerant
The efficiency of the compressor is low
Condenser can't discharge smoothly
During heating, the electric heater does not work
Outdoor temperature is too high
Whether the cooling (heating) load is suitable.
The room is not properly sealed and there is
frequent passage of personnel, or when cooling,
there is heating device in the room.
The voltage is not stable.
Wrong wire connection
The fan's capacitor is broken
The motor winding is of broken circuit or short
circuit or the built in temperature limiter device
in open circuit due to overheat.
The controller has malfunction
The compressor capacitor is broken; wrong wire
Connection.
The compressor's motor is burned out
The compressor is jammed or blocked
Check leakage, evacuate with vacuum-pump after
repairing leakage, and then charge refrigerant according
the spec.
Observe the condensation condition of evaporator or the
reading of high pressure meter to judge if the system is
blocked; deal with the system accordingly.
Remove the redundant refrigerant in system
Replace the compressor
Clean the obstacle
1. Connecting wire is loose; 2. Thermal fuse is broken;
3. Temperature limiter is damaged; 4. Electric heater is
damaged; 5. Controller failed.
Correct the wiring or replace the failed parts
It is available to install a shade guarding against sun
and rain. If the maximum cooling capacity still too high,
then replace the unit.
Check the preset cooling (heating) load.
Keep the a proper sealing for the room and it is
recommended not to use electric appliance with too
much heating when cooling.
Check the reason and correct it.
Check the circuit and connect the wire correctly
according to the electric circuit diagram.
Replace fan's capacitor with the same mode and
specification
Replace the failed components.
Replace the controller
Replace capacitor; connect the wire correctly according
to the electric circuit diagram
Check the compressor with a multimeter to find out if it
is short or broken circuit or grounded.
If so, replace the compressor.
Knock the compressor housing with a rubber bar or
a hammer padding with a wood, the compressor might
be shocked and then start up. If not, change the
compressor.
