Unable to transmit data through Scan to E-Mail/Internet FAX.

Check
The SMTP server is not in
service.
IP address of the SMTP
server is wrong.
Port number is wrong.
The message

A timeout condition occurs.

during file transfer.

Depending on the model of the Internet Fax machine on the receiving end, a file
transmitted through binary division may not be properly received by the receiving
machine. Check with the receiving end before actually sending the Internet Fax.

Possible Cause

the setting for Scanned File
Separation and Binary Divi-
sion as necessary so that the
scan data does not exceed the
Maximum E-Mail Size.
