Selecting a Source

Select the input source to be played.
From the front panel
INPUT
From the remote control
AUX
TUNER
CD
TAPE
Press INPUT repeatedly.
The name of the selected source appears in the display.
Each press of INPUT switches the input source as shown
below.

Source indicators
• When the TUNER source is selected, the display shows
the frequency of the last received radio station.
One touch operation
When the unit is in the STANDBY mode, press INPUT to
automatically turn the power on and switch to the last
source you listened to.
Press AUX, TUNER, CD, or TAPE.
The respective input source is selected.
Press TUNER repeatedly to select the band (FM or AM).
One touch operation
When the power is in the STANDBY mode, press AUX,
TUNER, CD, or TAPE to automatically turn the power on
and switch to the selected source.
When using the optional components together with
this unit via the Compu Link connection (page 41)
When a source is selected, the selected source component
switches ON automatically. If the component is ready for
playback, it also starts to play (see page 42).
