CONTACT EDGE against the Crow n m olding Stoppers
as show n in Fig. 20. Adjust the Crow n m olding
Stoppers according to the size of the crow n m olding.
Tighten the 6 m m w ing bolt to secure the Crow n
m olding Stoppers.

WARNING
Alw ays firm ly clam p or vise to secure the crow n
m olding to the fence; otherw ise the crow n m olding
m ight be thrust from the table and cause bodily harm .
Do not bevel cutting. The m ain body or saw blade
m ay contact the sub fence, resulting in an injury.
CAUTION
Alw ays confirm that the m otor head (see Fig. 2) does
not contact the crow n m olding vise assem bly w hen it
is low ered for cutting. If there is any danger that it
m ay do so, loosen the 6 m m knob bolt and m ove the
crow n m olding vise assem bly to a position w here it
w ill not contact the saw blade.
M OUNTING AND DISM OUNTING SAW BLADE
WARNING
To prevent an accident or personal injury, always turn off
the trigger switch and disconnect the power plug from
the receptacle before removing or installing a blade.
If cutting w ork is done in a state w here the bolt is not
sufficiently tightened, the bolt can get loose, the blade
can com e off, and the low er guard can get dam aged,
resulting in injuries.
Also, check that the bolts are properly tightened before
plugging the pow er plug into the receptacle.
If the bolts are attached or detached using tools other
than the 10 m m box w rench (standard accessory),
excessive or im properly tightening occurs, resulting
in injury.
1. M ounting the saw blade (Fig. 21, Fig. 22, Fig. 23 and
Fig. 24)
(1) Rotate the low er guard (plastic) to the top position.
(2) Use the driver to loosen the 4 m m screw fastening
the spindle cover and then rem ove the spindle cover.
(3) Press in spindle lock and loosen bolt w ith 10 m m box
w rench (standard accessory).
Since the bolt is left-hand threaded, loosen by turning
it to the right as show in Fig. 23.

NOTE
If the spindle lock cannot be easily pressed in to lock
the spindle, turn the bolt w ith 10 m m box w rench
(standard accessory) w hile applying pressure on the
spindle lock.
The saw blade spindle is locked w hen the spindle lock
is pressed inw ard.
(4) Rem ove the bolt and w asher (D).
(5) Lift the low er guard and m ount the saw blade.
WARNING
When m ounting the saw blade, confirm that the
rotation indicator m ark on the saw blade and the
rotation direction of the gear case(see Fig. 1)are
properly m atched.
(6) Thoroughly clean w asher (D) and the bolt, and install
them onto the saw blade spindle.
(7) Press in the spindle lock and tighten the bolt by turning
it to the left by standard accessories w rench(10 m m
box w rench) as indicated in Fig. 23
