7.8 Rapid heat-up
With rapid heat-up, your appliance reaches the set tem-
perature particularly quickly. Use rapid heat-up when
temperatures above 100 °C are selected.
Rapid heat-up is available for these types of heating:
¡ Hot air
¡ Hot air grill
Note: For Hot air 40 °C, the rapid heat-up function is
not available.
8  Microwave
You can use the microwave to cook, heat up, bake or
defrost food very quickly. The microwave can be used
on its own or in combination with a type of heating.
8.1 Microwave-safe cookware and
accessories
To heat food evenly and avoid damaging your appli-
ance, it is important to use the right cookware and ac-
cessories.
Note: Read the manufacturer's instructions before us-
ing any cookware in the microwave. If in doubt, carry
out a cookware test.

Activating rapid heat-up
To achieve an even cooking result, do not place your
food into the cooking compartment until rapid heat-up
is complete.
Set the type of heating and the temperature.

7.9 Automatic safety switch-off function
The automatic safety switch-off is activated if your appli-

The appliance automatically switches off after 9 hours.

inside of the door.
Reason
These materials allow mi-
crowaves to pass
through. Microwaves do
not damage heat-resistant
cookware.
Note: You can use metal
cutlery, e.g. place a
spoon in a glass, to pre-
vent delayed boiling.
