15. Set PARENT PICTURE to UHF/VHF TUNER/TV DEMODULATOR 1 UNIT input. ("-
R" is displayed on the screen.)
16. Connect the Oscilloscope to TP50 on the CRT C.B.A.
(Use TP47 for GND.)
17. Select R-SUB BRIGHT and move the shaded area to the value in EVR adjustment
mode.
18. Adjust the FOCUS CONTROL (F1) on the Flyback Transformer so that the
vertical line is the sharpest.
Then, adjust FOCUS CONTROL (F2) on the Flyback Transformer so that the
horizontal line is the sharpest.
19. Press DISPLAY key (Service Switch) on the remote control for collapse scan.
(Refer to How to Enter Service Mode.)
20. Turn the SCREEN CONTROL on Flyback Transformer fully counterclockwise.
21. Adjust R-SUB BRIGHT in EVR adjustment mode so that the level A is 175 VDC±5
VDC.
22. Turn the SCREEN CONTROL on the Flyback Transformer clockwise carefully
and stop at the point where green is first observed.
23. In EVR adjustment mode, select the two colors the following control functions
(B CUT, R CUT) and adjust so that the horizontal line becomes white.
24. Supply a White Pattern Signal to the Antenna Input Terminal.
25. Press DISPLAY key on the remote control again to return for full frame scan.
26. Select R DRV and B DRV in EVR adjustment mode and adjust so that the entire
screen is white.
27. Select R-SUB BRIGHT in EVR adjustment mode. Then, after making a note of the
original value, adjust to the minimum (80) and while turning SUB BRIGHT value
from minimum (80) up to maximum (7D), confirm that the screen is tracking the
White Pattern properly. Repeat the above steps 19, 23, 25, and 26 until the screen
is properly tracking the White Pattern.
Note:
Before pressing DISPLAY key on the remote control for collapse scan, select the
desired control function and move the shaded area to the value.
