8.1. Operation
The hand wash and dry cycle is activated when your hands are placed centrally
under the tap and dispensing nozzles. An infra-red hand sensor initiates the cycle
when it detects hands under the tap head. When the cycle starts, a sequence of
soap, water and hand dryer air are dispensed. Note that the water dispensing, and
hand dryer functions include a feature to auto-cancel a cycle that is in operation
should the user remove their hands from underneath the tap head before either cycle
has completed its preset time. The cycle cancels after the user's hands have been
removed from under the tap head (Water 4 sec & Hand drier 2 sec). This feature can
be adjusted to increase or decrease the 2 second default time or the feature can be
disabled, refer to section 8.2 for information.
8.1.1. Soap Operation
There are 2 settings for soap delivery, LIQUID (default) or FOAM. The rocker switch
used to change the soap option is located under the control panel cover on control
module. Adjust the switch to position 1 for foam or 0 for liquid see below;
