The instrument is equipped with a special function protecting the sensors from getting harmed by too high CO-concentrations. During the first contact with the exhaust gas the MSI EM200-E automatically assesses how fast the concentration rises and recognises if the measuring range (8,000 ppm) will be ex- ceeded. -

Info Function After selecting "Info" the display reads: You are informed about the analyser (MSI EM200-E), the manufacturer (Dräger MSI GmbH), the date and time when Info Function was called, the version of the firmware (1.1,056), the date of next service (7/2010) and the serial number of the analyser (KRZN-2000). -

Make sure, that the instrument is stored in a place with room temperature with- out contamination with solvents, exhaust gases or combustibles and that it becomes re- charged periodically.
