9. Troubleshooting

Issue
No display (black
screen) Indicators
don't light
With display but not
execute detection
Host is uncontrolled,
continually releasing
or receiving wire
Sensing weight only
going down
20~25cm and back
to standby
Measurement result
is quite different
from actual result
Possible Reason
Screen saver program is
executed
No power input or no
power on switch
Wire broken
Construction mistake
or circuit short
Power supply failure
External trigger wire
broken (15, 16)
Motor wire broken
High pressure in
reservoir or storage,
made the weight head
can't droop down
Dust inside the housing,
blocking and affect the
movement of sliding rod.
Firmware failure
Short circuit happened in
terminal 15 &16
It was influenced by other
induced voltage nearby.
Magnet on sliding rod got
off, can't sense position
and system forces it to
come back
There are damages in
wire, inadvertently touch
the switch as in
measurement
Impacted by filling
materials as in
measurement
Examination
Push one of three
buttons "ENT", "LEFT",
"UP" to act the display
Power switch status and
power line connector
Check the voltage at
power input
Check fuse on electric
board
Check the voltage of
secondary power supply
is 24 VDC
Check if RUN command
can act or not
Check the wire condition
with motor
Observe if gas or dust
eject from EEX
Checking the housing for
dust and sliding rod.
Restart it and get it
normal, but it will fail
randomly.
Check terminal 15 & 16
for resistance value
Check every wire for if
any unstable voltage.
Check magnet on top of
sliding rod is completed
or not
Check whole wire if any
obvious damage
If material filling
protection function is
connected
22
Solution
Push "ENT", "LEFT",
"UP" to act and make
LCM bright Push "RUN"
to start the
measurement
Turn on power
Replace wire or provide
correct power
Replace fuse
Replace power supply
module or contact

contact FineTek
Check the cover secure
and fix the screw, or
contact FineTek
Cleaning the housing
and remove dust, forbid
to use any lubrication oil.
Contact FineTek
Check wiring and
