Rinsing the cofee system

During rinsing, the nozzles at the outlet and the internal parts of the cofee
system are rinsed. As a result, rinsing water from the interior enters the drip
tray.
When switching on and of, the appliance rinses the cofee system.
Rinsing can also be carried out manually.
Requirement: The ready symbol appears on the display.
1. Place a vessel beneath the outlet.
2. Press the "menu/ok" button for 2 seconds.
» The menu appears on the display.
3. Navigate to the Care > Rinsing menu.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select Start and conirm with "menu/ok".
» The cofee system is rinsed.
» The ready symbol appears on the display.

Cleaning the brewing unit

To avoid damage to the appliance, we recommend cleaning the brewing
unit once a week.

Requirement: The appliance is switched of.
1. Open the cover (11). To do this, reach into the recess on the right of the
appliance and pull the cover of upwards.
2. Press and hold the red lever (40) on the brewing unit handle (14) and
turn the handle clockwise until it engages at the stop.
3. Pull the brewing unit out of the appliance using the handle.
