combustible facing is required.

Note: For flush finishing, the top nailing strip must be removed and a non-
combustible steel stud support added.
The seven fireplace opening standoffs which are located on this unit can
be removed when non combustible material is installed flush with the unit.
(see P. 13).
Non-combustible finishing material on the top and sides must also be used.
