Normal position when the vehicle is not in use.
Electrical power from the battery is not available to power the engine, engine
starter, or electrical systems.

Some electrical accessories operate independently of the key switch.

starter, and electrical systems.
WITH THE SWITCH SET TO MAINTENANCE AND THE ENGINE ON,
THE VEHICLE CAN MOVE SUDDENLY IF THE FORWARD / NEUTRAL
/ REVERSE CONTROL (FNR) IS ACCIDENTALLY SHIFTED. ENGAGE
THE PARK BRAKE. PUT CHOCKS AGAINST THE FRONT AND REAR
WHEELS.
Normal Operation
Only to be used for extended storage and by a trained technician for
maintenance functions.
FAILURE TO ENGAGE THE PARK BRAKE CAN CAUSE PROPERTY
DAMAGE AND SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY. AFTER THE VEHICLE
STOPS, ENGAGE THE PARK BRAKE UNTIL IT IS FULLY ENGAGED
AND PREVENTS THE VEHICLE FROM MOVING.
UNINTENDED VEHICLE OPERATION CAN CAUSE SERIOUS
PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. THE PARK BRAKE WILL RELEASE
AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE ACCELERATOR OR BRAKE PEDAL IS
PUSHED. PREVENT ACCIDENTAL ACCELERATOR OR BRAKE PEDAL
ACTUATION.
