Chapter 1

Overview

The pH Amp is one of a family of modular devices called front-ends,
designed to extend the capabilities of the PowerLab
pH Amp is designed to record signals from:
pH electrodes
potentiometric ion selective electrodes (ISEs)
redox (or ORP, oxidation–reduction) potentiometric electrodes
other high impedance sources up to ±2 V requiring electrometer
input.
The built-in temperature amplifier can be used to provide automatic
temperature compensation (ATC) for pH and ion selective electrodes.
This chapter provides an overview of the pH Amp, and describes its
features.
