Modern, powerful dishwasher
detergents usually have a low alkaline
recipe with enzymes. Enzymes break
down starch and dissolve proteins.
Oxygen-based bleaching agents are
usually used to remove colored stains
(eg tea or ketchup).

Dishwasher powder
Description
Tabs are suitable for all
dishwashing tasks and
do not require dosing.
With shortened
programmes, tabs may
not dissolve completely,
leaving detergent
residue. This can

dishwashing powder is
recommended.
The dosage can be
adjusted to the degree
of soiling.

Non-combined detergent
Non-combined dishwashing detergents
are products that contain no further
components besides the actual
dishwashing detergent. Examples of
this are dishwashing powder or liquid
dishwashing detergent.
With powder and liquid detergent,
the dosage can be adjusted to the
degree of soiling of the dishes.
For better washing and drying results
and to prevent damage to the
appliance, we recommend adding
softening salt → Page 29 and rinse aid
→ Page 31 to use.

Description
Liquid detergents work
faster and are
recommended for short
programs without a pre-
rinse phase.
It may happen that
an applied liquid
detergent escapes from
the detergent dispenser
even though it is closed.
This is not a malfunction
and is not serious if you
observe the following:
s Select only
a program without
pre-rinse phase.
s Do not give time setting
for the programs
