Carbon brush
The brush and commutator of the tool should be visually examined regularly. Their good contact makes
the tool energetic. When the spark around the commutator gets bigger, the carbon brush should be
changed.
Cleaning
Warning:
Before cleaning or performing maintenance, the tool must be disconnected from
the power supply. Compressed dry air is the most effective cleaning method. Always wear safety
glasses when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch levers must be kept clean. Do not attempt to clean them by inserting
pointed objects through openings. No chemical agent is allowed to be used in cleaning the power tool.
