Configuration on "6-channel portable measuring instru-
ment"
Please take note of the sample values table for the 6-channel
portable measuring instrument before the initial commissioning.
The voltage and current values that you need to enter under SIG-
NAL for the "6-channel portable measuring instrument" are, in
contrast to the "3/4-channel portable measuring instrument", not
dependent on the measuring range specified by the dial on the
current/voltage converter.
NOTICE
The desired measurement range must be set using the dial on
the current/voltage converter. A sensor must be connected to
the Sensor port on the current/voltage converter.
1
Choose FREMDSENSOR (AUX. SENSOR) from the menu on the "6-
channel portable measuring instrument".
2
From the menu choice FREMDSENSOR (AUX. SENSOR), select the
channel you want to configure where the current/voltage connector is
connected.

Set the UNIT and the begin and end values to specify how the corre-
sponding signal will be shown on the display.
4
Under the SIGNAL option on the portable measuring instrument, set
the unit and the begin/end values for the signal type. If the signal type
is "voltage", enter 0 V under FROM and 10 V under TO. If the signal
type is "current", enter 0 mA under FROM and 20 mA under TO.
