11...24VDC (C) connection
The 11...24VDC connection is used for the adapter's external power sup-
ply in the 11-24 V range. The adapter is normally supplied through the
connected portable measuring instrument and supplies 18 volts to auxil-
iary sensors connected on the Sensor port. An external power supply is
required in two different cases:
• When there is no portable measuring instrument connected to the cur-
rent/voltage converter (stand-alone operation).
• When a connected external sensor runs on a voltage greater than 18
V. In this case you can make use of the portable measuring instru-
ment's power supply unit.
Handmeter (D) port
The Handmeter port can connect the "6-channel portable measuring
instrument" and the "3/4-channel portable measuring instrument". The
connection uses the fixed cable.
