About this manual Validity This operating manual is for customers of Pfeiffer Vacuum. ● The fore vacuum safety valve serves to the installation in a fore-vacuum line between a turbopump and a backing pump. ● The fore vacuum valve TVV 001 serves to protect a turbopump against unintended venting via the fore-vacuum line in the case the backing pump stops. -

115 V AC, 50/60 Hz Function The fore vacuum safety valve TVV 001 is a direct acting 2/2-way solenoid valve with manual override and adjustable switch-on delay. The valve is qualified for the fitting into a fore vacuum line between a turbopump and a backing pump. It protects the turbopump against unintended venting in case the backing pump stops. -

Anti-clockwise Delay time becomes longer Manual operation The fore-vacuum safety valve TVV 001 can be opened by manual actuation in an emer- gency. Press the button on the valve body and turn it clockwise to lock it. – In locked manual actuation the valve is blocked electrically. -
