5. Operation 5.1 Before starting the pump 1. After completing installation, measure the insulation resistance again as described in Installation section. 2. If the pump is operated continuously for an extended period of time in a dry condition or at the lowest water level, the motor protector will be activated. -

7. Disassembly and reassembly procedure DANGER Disconnect and lock out electrical power before installing or servicing the unit. WARNING A worn impeller and/or pump housing can have very sharp edges. Wear protective gloves. CAUTION Make sure to perform a trial operation when starting the pump after a reassembly.
