Troubleshooting

Refer to the following if your SRF110 fails to operate properly.
If the suggested corrective actions do not solve your problem,
contact Thermofisher for additional assistance. The following
failure codes may appear on the display when problems are
sensed by the internal self-check system.

Sensor failure
Connection failure

Hall effect sensor failure
Wire failure
Cause
Unit not connected to electrical
Circuit breaker blown
Lid open
Sample tubes not located
symmetrically in rotor
Vent hose exhausting into lab
area
CAUTION: Disconnect power before servicing
the SRF110.
WARNING: Electrical shock hazard. See
SRF110 Product Specifications for electrical
operating parameters.
Corrective Action
Replace sensor assembly.
Repair connection.
Close lid.
Check component.
Check connections.
Push program button #1.
Push program button #1.
Call Thermofisher – Replace IC chip or
control PCB.
Replace motor.
Replace sensor.
Replace wire.
Corrective Action
Connect unit to proper electrical receptacle
power.
Correct electrical problem and reset circuit
breaker by pressing button.
Close lid.
Reposition sample tubes.
Redirect hose to fume hood.
