Techniques for passing obstacles and driving uphill.
Passing obstacles
When passing an obstacle, it may be difficult to keep the wheel in contact with the obstacle. To
pass obstacles, it is recommended to pause about 0.5 m in front of the obstacle and accelerate
towards it (e.g. curb, road edge, etc.)
Driving uphill
When driving up a steep hill (more than 4-5 degrees incline) it is recommended to move the
centre of gravity as far forward as possible by tilting the upper body forward and if possible
moving further forward on the wheelchair seat. By moving the centre of gravity forward,
Infinity gets better tyre traction.
Another alternative driving technique if the conditions and surroundings allow it, is to drive
S-turns up the hill.

Parking brake

Infinity can be equipped with a parking brake. The parking brake is able to keep Infinity still on
a level surface. When parking on a sloping surface, the parking brake must be combined with
the wheelchair's brakes to ensure that the Infinity and wheelchair do not start rolling.
INFO
Use the parking brake when you are stopped at, for example, a traffic light or a
pedestrian crossing.

Moving Infinity connected to a wheelchair

To move the Infinity when connected to a wheelchair, turn off the main power switch.
The drive wheel is then disengaged and can roll without power.
WARNING!
Never drive Infinity when not seated in the wheelchair.
