Siting the DHW cylinder
!
Please note
The thermal insulation must not be able to come
into contact with naked flames.
Exercise caution when welding and soldering.
!
Please note
To prevent material losses, site the DHW cylin-
der in a room free from the risk of frost and
draughts.
When not in use, the DHW cylinder must be
drained if there is a risk of frost.

Installing the immersion heater EHE (if available)

Connect the power supply only after the solar control
unit has been connected (see page 15).
Immersion heater EHE installation instructions
Provide adequate clearance from the wall for operat-
ing the Vitosolic 100 (if installed).
Note
To facilitate access to the connections on the solar
side, the Vitosolic 100 can be moved to the right or
left.
Use the adjustable feet to level the DHW cylinder.
Note
Never extend the adjustable feet beyond a total
length of 35 mm.
Immersion heater EHE installation instructions
Maintain the minimum clearance.

Please note
The unheated length of any threaded immersion
heater installed on site must be at least 100 mm.
The threaded immersion heater must be suitable
for installation in enamelled DHW cylinders.

Please note
To prevent equipment damage, cables must not
come into contact with hot parts.
Ensure adequate thermal insulation between
cables and hot pipework.
