Connecting the solar control unit
The following cables/leads have yet to be connected to
the Vitosolic 100 or the SDIO/SM1A electronics mod-
ule:

■ Connection to Vitotronic boiler control units (KM-
BUS) or PlusBus

Please note
Routing 230 V cables immediately adjacent to
extra low voltage (ELV) leads may lead to data
being corrupted during transmission.
Route extra low voltage (ELV) leads < 42 V and
cables 230 V~ separately underneath the

cover of the DHW cylinder.

Connecting the heating water side and solar side

Connect all pipework with detachable fittings.

■ Seal connections that are not required with caps.
■ Adjust the high limit safety cut-out so that the DHW
temperature in the DHW cylinder does not exceed
95 °C.
