BATTERY ASSY

Note 1: When the battery assy is replaced, refer to "CHECKING THE NEW LITHIUM ION
STORAGE BATTERY FOR BEFORE USE AND NOTES ON HANDLING" on page 5.

1 Peel off the wire sheet
from the rear plate.
Attach in order from 1 to 4.
1 Bend the battery wire and position
it to the battery body side.

3 Paste the wire sheet
to the rear plate.
Twist the [black] wire and [white] wire
of battery wire together 2.5 turns
counterclockwise from the under
side of [red] wire of battery wire.

The [black]/[white] battery
wires is twisted 2.5 turns
counterclockwise.

2 Insert the wire sheet into
the hole of the rear plate,
paste it to the battery wire
and battery body.

4 Position the battery wire to
center side of the rear plate.
4 Lift up the battery assy in
the direction of the arrow.

The [black]/[white] battery
wires is twisted 1.5 turns
counterclockwise.

5 Peel off the battery assy from
the adhesive battery sheet.
6 battery assy (See Note 1)
Note 2: When removing the battery assy from
the adhesive battery sheet, the battery
assy cannot be reused.
Be sure to replace it with a new part.
7 Remove the battery assy in
Sony CONFIDENTIAL

2 Draw out the wire sheet from
the hole of the rear plate.
