5-2. Prepare each setting tool:
• PC confi guration setting tool
This tool is set the PC operation confi guration used to execute the
pre-installed content setting.
NWA100ZX500_Init_ServiceTool_x.xx.xx.zip
Note 1: If you are using a PC that has already been set up with a PC opera-
tion confi guration, it is not necessary to use "PC confi guration set-
ting tool".
• Pre-installed content setting tool
A tool for setting pre-installed content.

• Pre-installed content
This is pre-installed content.
Note 2: Select and use the folder of the color name that conforms to body
color.

Note 3: When checking the destination of this unit, refer to "WALKMAN

Note 4: "x.xx.xx", "x.xx" of each tool name indicates the version. Be sure
to use the latest version.

Copy the each setting tool to the local drive of the PC and then unzip
the zip fi le.

5-3. PC confi guration setting for executing the pre-in-
stalled content setting
It is necessary to set the operation confi guration in advance to the
using PC to execute the Pre-installed content setting.
Note 1: If you are using a PC that has already been set up with a PC opera-
tion confi guration, do not need to perform this work. Go to "5-4.
Perform pre-installed content setting" on page 17.
Note 2: If you want to check that the operation confi guration is set on the
PC to be used, refer to "5-3-3. Checking the PC confi guration set-
ting" on page 17.
5-3-1. JAVA check
Check that JAVA is installed on the PC before PC confi guration set-
ting.
Checking procedure:
All of "JAVA check" will operate on the PC.
1. Double click "1_java_check.bat" in the "NWA100ZX500_Init_
ServiceTool_x.xx.xx" folder.

2. Check the "java version" fi eld on the display screen.
Note 1: If JAVA is not installed on the PC, sentences with unrecognized
content will be displayed.
In that case, download JAVA from the JAVA website and install it
on your PC.
Note 2: There is no problem if the version of JAVA is "1.6_xxx" or later, but
we recommend "1.8_xxx" or later.
3. Press any key on the PC keyboard and close the display screen.
4. Complete the JAVA check.
This completes the JAVA check.
Please proceed to the "5-3-2. PC confi guration setting".
