Using the NW-A100TPS
By attaching the supplied cassette-player-style
soft case and switching the playback screen of
the WALKMAN® to the cassette tape screen, you
can enjoy an animation of the spools of a tape
rotating, along with the ambience of the original
Walkman.

Note
• Check the location of the (N-Mark) on the Walkman before attaching the soft case.
• Make sure that the Walkman is securely fitted inside the soft case.
• Failure to obey the following precautions may cause the soft case to deform or break.
– Avoid applying strong pressure when attaching or removing the soft case.
– Refrain from wrapping the headphone cable around the soft case during use.
• Do not put stickers, etc. on the soft case.
• Refrain from using commercial solvents such as benzene or alcohol to clean the soft case, as
doing so may cause discoloration or deterioration.
Do not place this product close to medical devices.
This product (including accessories) has magnet(s) which may interfere with pacemakers,
programmable shunt valves for hydrocephalus treatment, or other medical devices. Do not
place this product close to persons who use such medical devices. Consult your doctor before
using this product if you use any such medical device.
To show the cassette tape screen
You can switch the regular playback screen to an animation of a cassette tape
playing. The cassette tape screen display is turned on as a default.
1 Tap [Music player] on the home screen.
2 Select a track that you want to play from the library screen.
The display will switch to the playback screen, and the track will start to play.
3 Add a check mark to the box next to [Display tape playback screen] under
(Options) to turn on the cassette tape screen display.
The display will switch to the cassette tape screen.
Hint
• When the cassette tape screen display is turned on, if a certain amount of time elapses
without any button or screen operations on the playback screen, the display will switch to the
cassette tape screen.
• The type of cassette tape displayed varies according to the track being played back.
• You can also switch to the cassette tape screen by selecting
[Play on cassette tape screen].
To temporarily return to the regular playback screen
If you tap the cassette tape screen, the display will temporarily switch back to the
regular playback screen, allowing you to perform screen operations.
To stop using the cassette tape screen display function
To turn off the cassette tape screen display, remove the check mark from the box
next to [Display tape playback screen] under (Options) on the playback screen.
Note regarding replacements/repairs
• If parts of the Walkman are replaced or the Walkman is replaced with a similar
model due to repairs, the replacement(s) will have a different design because
the NW-A100TPS is a limited item.
• Please note that since the soft case is a limited item, the replacement product
may not have the same design.

要显示盒式磁带画面
您可以将常规播放画面切换为盒式磁带播放的动画。盒
式磁带画面显示默认打开。
1– 在主画面上点按
2– 从库画面中选择要播放的曲目。
显示屏将切换到播放画面，曲目将开始播放。
3– 勾选 （选项） 下的 ［显示磁带播放画面］ 以打开盒式磁带
画面显示。

要点
• 当盒式磁带画面显示打开时，如果一段时间播放画面上没
(Options)  [Settings] 
有任何按钮或屏幕操作，显示屏将切换到盒式磁带画面。
• 显示的盒式磁带类型根据播放的曲目而有所不同。
• 您也可以通过选择 （选项）  ［设置］  ［在磁带画面上播
放］ 来切换到盒式磁带画面。
要暂时返回常规播放画面
如果您点按盒式磁带画面，显示屏将暂时切换回常规播
放画面，以让您进行屏幕操作。
要停止使用盒式磁带画面显示功能
要关闭盒式磁带画面显示，请在播放画面上取消勾选
（选项） 下的 ［显示磁带播放画面］ 。

伴随原始Walkman氛围的磁带卷

关于更换/维修的注意事项
• 如因维修而更换Walkman的部件或将Walkman替换为类
似的型号，则更换件（替换品）将具有不同的设计，因为
NW-A100TPS是限量品。

的设计。

若要顯示卡帶畫面
您可以將一般播放畫面切換至卡帶播放的動畫。預設是開啟卡式帶顯示畫面。
1– 在首頁畫面上輕觸– ［音樂播放器］ 。
2– 從資料庫畫面選擇一個要播放的曲目。
顯示會切換至播放畫面，曲目會開始播放。
3– 在– （選項） 底下的 ［顯示有錄音帶圖示的播放畫面］ 旁邊的框中加上勾選符號，以
開啟卡帶顯示畫面。

提示
• 卡帶顯示畫面開始時，如果過了一段時間沒有在播放畫面上進行任何按鈕或畫面操作，顯示會切換
至卡帶畫面。
• 顯示的卡帶類型會因播放曲目而異。
• 您也可以選擇– （選項）  ［設定］  ［在錄音帶圖示螢幕上播放］ 以切換至卡式帶畫面。
若要暫時回到一般播放畫面
如果您輕觸卡式帶畫面，顯示就會暫時切換回一般播放畫面，讓您執行畫面操作。
若要停止使用卡式帶畫面顯示功能
若要關閉卡式帶畫面顯示，請將播放畫面上– （選項） 底下 ［顯示有錄音帶圖示的播放
畫面］ 旁邊框中的勾選符號移除。
關於更換/維修的注意事項
• 如果因為維修而更換Walkman–的零組件或Walkman被更換為類似的機型,更換品會因
為–NW-A100TPS是受限的品項而有不同的設計。
• 請注意，由於軟盒是受限制的品項，更換的產品可能不會有相同的設計。
