LEDs
LEDs offer a full spectrum of high intensity blue, green, red and infra-red LEDs that are up to 200 times
brighter than standard LEDs, the new Imager Chemi Premium options provide faster exposure times and
publication quality images for imaging complex multiplex fluorescent gels and blots.
In addition to these fixed light sources, additional light sources can be positioned in the Darkroom, as
required. A socket is available at the back right hand corner of the Drawer to power these light sources;
either a UV Transilluminator, an UltraBright LED Blue Light Transilluminator, or a White Light Pad.

Filters
The Imager Chemi Premium Instrument is provided with a motor driven rotating Filter Holder. This is located
in the top of the Instrument, such that the filter lenses are positioned directly below the front element of the
imaging lens. Positions are available for up to seven circular filters to be installed. These are numbered 1 -
7 so that filter locations can be identified within the Gel Doc image capture software. Access to the Filter
Holder is gained by removing the Lens and Camera Units.
If Filters have been pre-ordered then these will normally be installed at the factory prior to shipping. If these
have been purchased at a later date or have been loose-shipped, install them as follows:
