– The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a room controller when there is no other controller (BM-2/BM) in the heating/ventilation appliance. – The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a remote control of a heating and/or mixing circuit if it detects a different controller (BM-2/BM) in the system.
Only operate the system if it is in perfect technical condition. Any faults or damage that impact or might impact safety must be remedied immediately by a qualified contractor. ► All faulty components must be replaced with original WOLF spare parts. General safety information...
– In order for the room temperature sensor to function properly, the module must be installed in a representative room. – The RM-2 Wireless can also be placed within a room as a mobile unit. – The module must not be obstructed by furniture or curtains.
Electrical connection 3.3.1 RM-2 In order for the RM-2 to be connected to the power, the eBus cable (2-pole) must be connected to the terminals of the wall mounted base. The polarity must be observed. Cable diameter: 0.5…1.5 mm². Fig. 3.2...
3.3.4 Power supply unit (9 VDC) If necessary, the RM-2 Wireless can also be powered using a 9 V DC power supply (not included, minimum 500 mA; suited for continuous operation) instead of the 3x AAA batteries (not both at the same time).
► Dispose of packaging made of cardboard, recyclable plastics and synthetic filler materials in an environmentally compatible manner through appropriate recycling systems or a recycling centre. ► Please observe the applicable national and local regulations. 3066510_202108 WOLF GmbH | 13...
► Do not expose batteries to extremely low pressure environments. ► Remove batteries from the controller. ► Batteries must be disposed of at a suitable collection point. Information about collection points is available from your local council or waste disposal provider. 14 | WOLF GmbH 3066510_202108...

– If another system controller is detected in the eBus system (BM or BM-2), the RM-2 will function as a remote control for a heating/ mixing circuit – If no other system controller is detected, the RM-2 will function as a complete (room temperature) controller for the heating and/or ventilation system.
Once the RM-2 has stored its function (remote control (incl. heating / mixer circuit assignment) or controller), this function will be stored in the RM-2 until the device is reset. The RM-2 must be reset before it can be added to a new system configuration (see page 22, para.: 6.2.)
General functions General functions Assignment of functions Different configuration options and functions are available depending on whether the RM-2 is used as a remote control or a controller. Additional images and information are provided in Section 10. Functions Remote control...
