    – The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a room controller when there is no other controller (BM-2/BM) in the heating/ventilation appliance. – The RM-2 / RM-2 Wireless acts as a remote control of a heating and/or mixing circuit if it detects a different controller (BM-2/BM) in the system.

    – In order for the room temperature sensor to function properly, the module must be installed in a representative room. – The RM-2 Wireless can also be placed within a room as a mobile unit. – The module must not be obstructed by furniture or curtains.

    Pairing mode In its factory setting, the RM-2 Wireless goes into pairing mode as soon as it is turned on. The RM-2 Wireless will stay in pairing mode for 2 minutes following a restart. The word PAIR will be displayed inside a moving rectangle.

    – If another system controller is detected in the eBus system (BM or BM-2), the RM-2 will function as a remote control for a heating/ mixing circuit – If no other system controller is detected, the RM-2 will function as a complete (room temperature) controller for the heating and/or ventilation system.

    Once the RM-2 has stored its function (remote control (incl. heating / mixer circuit assignment) or controller), this function will be stored in the RM-2 until the device is reset. The RM-2 must be reset before it can be added to a new system configuration (see page 22, para.: 6.2.)

    Automatic winter/summer changeover If the room temperature exceeds the set room temperature by 0.5K, the RM-2 automatically switches to summer mode (heating circuit switches off).
