RISK OF FIRE!
Installation of the range hood over an appliance
which runs on solid fuel (wood or coal) is allowed only
in case the appliance is permanently assembled. The
local regulations regarding the mains electricity shall be
observed.
If the appliance has not been cleaned in accordance with
the cleaning instructions it is possible to suck in sparkles
or other small burning particles and thus to cause fire.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FS–series range hoods are designed for installation
under a kitchen cabinet or for wall-mounting. Figure 2
below shows the distances for the installation openings
for the two types of installation.

Installation under a kitchen cabinet
Mark on the bottom of the kitchen cabinet and drill
4 openings with diameter ø6, taking into account
the distance between the installation openings
shown in figure 2.
Mark and cut the opening for the outlet metal pipe
ø12, and consider that the opening should be of
bigger diameter.
Install the range hood to the bottom of the cabinet
by means of 4 screws М4х30.
Place the non-return flap at the outlet opening of
the range hood.

Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into
account that the bends and curves reduce the
absorption power, so they should be reduced to the
minimum.
Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power.
Wall-mounting
Mark on the wall and drill 2 openings with diameter
ø10, taking into account the distance between the
installation openings shown in figure 2.
Place the plastic wall plugs in the openings drilled
in the wall.
Tighten the screws in the wall plugs.
Hang the range hood on the mounting hooks.
Place the non-return flap at the outlet opening of
the range hood.
Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into
account that the bends and curves reduce the
absorption power, so they should be reduced to the
minimum.
Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not bend or squeeze the power cord during
installation! Otherwise the cord may get damaged.
RISK OF INJURY!
There is risk of injury during installation because
of the sharp edges. During installation always use
protective gloves.
All safety bolts and safety covers shall be installed in the
way specified in the instructions, otherwise the appliance
may fall.
OPERATION OF THE RANGE HOOD
The accessible parts may get hot while the
appliance is operating in combination with
operating hot plates under it.
Using range hood models FS 402 2M 60 WH and FS
403 2M 60 IX
Range hood models FS 402 2M 60 WH and FS 403 2M
60 IX share similar operation logics. They are operated
by five round buttons located on the front panel for
comfortable and easy access. The leftmost button is
for switching on/off the lightening, and the remaining
four buttons are for control of the ventilation speed.
By pressing the OFF button of the range hood you can
switch off the range hood.
