    Renesas Starter Kit for RX66T 5. User Circuitry 5. User Circuitry Reset Circuit A reset control circuit is fitted to the CPU board to generate the required reset signal, and is triggered from the RES switch. Refer to the RX66T Group User’s Manual: Hardware for details regarding the reset signal timing requirements, and the CPU board schematics for information regarding the reset circuitry in use on the board.

    Renesas Starter Kit for RX66T 5. User Circuitry Potentiometer A single-turn potentiometer is connected as a potential divider to analog input AN000, pin 90. The potentiometer can be used to create a voltage between Board_VCC and ground. Refer to the maker site for specification of the potentiometer (VISHAY with part number TS53 series).

    5. User Circuitry USB Serial Port A USB serial port is implemented in a Renesas low power microcontroller (RL78/G1C) and is connected to the RX66T Serial Communications Interface (SCI) module. Multiple options are provided to allow the selection of the connected SCI11 port. Connections between the USB to Serial converter and the microcontroller are listed in Table 5-6 below.
