Hold down the torch start button for a very short time.
♦ Gas flows from the torch for 40 seconds. The pressure reading on the pressure
gauge (I) remains constant.
Press the start button for about 5 seconds to start the pilot arc.
♦ Pilot arc lights for its maximum time (2,5 s.). The gas flowing continues for
approximately 40 seconds, after the start button has been released.
Move the torch near the workpiece to be cut and press the torch trigger.
♦ Begin cutting. Adjust the knob (Z) to the current level suited to the kind of
cutting.
♦ On the operator panel displays (U) and (V) show the set cutting current and the
torch nozzle diameter.
Release the torch start button.
♦ The arc shuts off immediately. The gas flowing continues for approximately 40
seconds, because of the torch cooling down (post-gas).
