5. Attach the connector off the new battery assembly to the pins located next to the fin clip inside the
well disk enclosure.
6. Check the LCD display to be sure the voltage is now close to 3.6 volts.
7. Screw the cap onto the well enclosure (Item 4).
8. Once the cap bottoms out to the flange turn the cap ONLY A HALF TURN to seal the well.

Disassembly of the 130-03 for service

To disassemble a 130-03 refer to the following steps:
1. Power off the 130-03.
2. Check and make sure the cap is installed on the well disk enclosure.
3. Flip the draw latches on the 130-03.
4. Remove the case enclosure with boards from the bottom lid.
5. Remove the enclosure from the 130-MC cabinet and flip the 130-03 DAS upside-down on the top of
the top case (Item 1).
Note: The order of removal is not important until the 130-03 DAS needs to be assembled.
6. If boards need to be removed, loosen and remove the six #6-32 screws from the stack.
Note: Retain the lock washers (Item 21) with the screws so they do not get misplaced.
7. Disconnect the CPU ribbon cables and from the CPU board by spreading the ears on the connections
of the CPU board.
8. At this point the individual boards may be gently lifted off the stack.
9. The 130-03 DAS hardware configuration can now be changed with an upgrade from a 12 to an 18
Channel.
