5 Operation
Before switching the device on,
make sure the connection cable
is connected to the SD301 sys-
tem display and the control com-
ponent.
5.1 Start-up
Switch on the tightening system. The system
display automatically starts.
Once the connection has been established
between the control component or the sys-
tem has been switched on, the start screen
appears (Figure 9).

The system starts the pre-set Power on menu
(Figure 10 and Figure 11) after the boot
phase. Exceptions to this are:
– Communication with the controller com-
ponent is not possible (e.g. defective con-
nector cable),
– The controller component is being run
with a firmware version that is not at least
1.26,
– No language pack has been loaded.
