5 Operation
5.2 Contrast settings
The reading angle of the system display is ad-
justable. The contrast can thus be increased
and the view improved.
The adjusting screw is on the rear of the sys-
tem display (Figure 12).

To set the contrast, first bend back the safety
latch (1). Turn the Phillips screw underneath
(2) to change the contrast. When the display
is optimal, cover the screw again with the
safety latch.

5.3 Touch panel adjustment
The touch panel on the system display is al-
ready adjusted and ready for use on delivery.
However, the touch panel may have to be re-
calibrated later due to aging and wear.
Adjustment:
– When switching on (plugging in) the
SD301, touch and hold down the touch
panel.
– Immediately let go of the touch panel once
the message "touch adjustment?" ap-
pears.
– Within 1 second of this, touch the touch
panel again for at least 1 second.
– Follow the adjustment instructions and
press the displayed upper left point and
then the lower right one.
