4.1 Assembly of the display
holder
4.1.1 Standard display holder
The SD301 system display is attached to the
system boxes with the standard display hold-
er (scope of delivery).
To do so, the standard display holder is at-
tached with the mounting nuts provided
(Figure 1) and the SD301 is slid over it.

The system boxes of the first series do not
have these mounting nuts. Here, bore holes
(Ø 4.3 mm) can be made (Figure 2). Attach-
ment is then possible with the screws provid-
ed (M4 x 6). The additional M4 nuts needed
are not included in the scope of
delivery.

When the display is attached, the user inter-
face should be vertical and the connection
cable underneath.
4.1.2 Universal display holder
The universal display holder, which is avail-
able as an accessory, provides other assem-
bly options for the SD301. It allows the
SD301 to be attached to system boxes with
non-standard locks (such as VW-E1), ma-
chine frames, or any surfaces.
It consists of a display holder (1), a spacer
(2), and a side plate (3) (Figure 3).
