Pay attention to the wind when using it
outdoors.
Make sure the stepladder is anchored or
suitably supported before stepping off it
above ground level.
Do not use a freestanding stepladder to
climb to another level.
Do not step on the 3 top steps/rungs on a
normal ladder.
Do not step on the 2 top steps/rungs on a
ladder without a platform and rail.
Do not step on the 4 top steps on a
stepladder with an extension ladder.
The stepladder should only be used for
simple, temporary jobs.
Do not use the product outdoors in strong
wind, heavy rain or other unfavourable
weather conditions.
Keep children under supervision to make
sure they do not play with, or climb on the
product.
Always face the ladder when ascending/
descending.
Keep a firm grip on the steps when
climbing up or down the stepladder.
Do not use the stepladder as a footbridge.
Wear suitable footwear when climbing on
a stepladder.
Avoid work that involves pressure to the
side on freestanding ladders, for example
drilling sideways in solid material (brick or
concrete). Do not spend long periods on
the stepladder without regular breaks
(tiredness is a risk factor).
If the stepladder is used as a lean-to
ladder to reach up to a higher level it
must reach up to a least one metre over
the contact point.
Equipment carried up on a stepladder
should be lightweight and easy to handle.
Do not carry or use bulky and/or heavy
objects on the stepladder.
Always keep a firm grip with at least one
hand when working on the stepladder, or
if this is not possible take additional safety
precautions.
Only use the stepladder in the specified
direction, if the design of the product
requires this.
Fit the tubes in the correct position when
using as a normal ladder.
Do not step off sideways from the
stepladder.
Never use the platform without the two
diagonal tubes and the two stabilisers. If it
is not possible to fit the components
correctly, dismantle the platform and
follow the assembly instructions from the
beginning. Contact the retailer if it is still
not possible to complete the assembly. Do
not use the product if it is not correctly
and completely assembled.
Do not stand on the edge of the platform.
Do not assemble the platform higher than
1 metre.

MAINTENANCE

Check the parts on the stepladder and the
hinges at regular intervals. Use low
viscosity oil when it is cold. Lubricate the
hinges at regular intervals, but be careful
not to drip oil on the steps or side rails
Stepladders must be stored where they
are not exposed to rain or snow, or direct
sunlight.
Store the product in a clean and dry place.
Hold the product firmly when carrying it.
Do not store anything on the stepladder.
Keep the product clean and free from
foreign objects and materials.
Clean the product after it has been used.
REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND
STORAGE
Repairs and maintenance shall be carried
out by a competent person and be in
accordance with the producer's
instructions. A competent person is
someone who has the skills to carry out
repairs or maintenance, e.g. by a training
by the manufacturer.
