To quickly check if the headlamp is aimed correctly, place the vehicle on a level surface
10 m (32.8 ft) from a vertical wall. Turn on the low beam light, sit on the vehicle and
check that the light beam projected to the wall is a little below the horizontal straight
line of the headlight (about 9/10 of the total height).
To carry out vertical adjustment of the light beam:
(LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS)
Working from the rear of the top fairing, under the inner bodywork, turn the
adjuster screw ("1" left hand side / "2" right hand side). TIGHTEN (clockwise)
to raise the beam; UNSCREW it (anticlockwise) to lower the light beam.
These two adjuster screws may be used to adjust the vertical alignment of
the low beam headlight beam.
