Single-channel Pipettors 0.1-2 μL, 0.5-10 μL, 2-20 μL,
10-100 μL (Figure 10A)
In order to check, clean, or replace the shaft (C) or seal-
ing parts (J, I), it is not necessary to dismantle the entire
shaft assembly. To gain access to these parts, hold the
nut of the shaft holder (F) and unscrew the tip ejector
(D). Unscrew the shaft (C) from the shaft holder (F)
and remove the O-ring (I), and in the case of pipettor
2/10 μL, also the Seal (J).
If you need to examine or clean the plunger (G):
• Unscrew the Shaft Cap (M).
• Remove all the parts from the shaft holder.
• Check the condition of components, and clean as
recommended.
• Replace any damaged parts.
• Assemble the components in reverse order.
NOTE: When disassembling, care should be taken so
that the plunger does not pop out under the action of
the pipetting spring.
