Always wear protective clothes (goggles,
gloves) when working with compressed air.

Clean the paper insert (4) (Fig. 47) carefully by
l
light banging or blow it carefully out from inside
to outside with dry, clean compressed air
(max. 2 bar (29 psi)).
In case of excessive dirt replace the paper el-
l
ement.
Clean the foam rubber insert (5) in warm
l
soapy water, rinse it and let it dry thoroughly.
Soak the foam insert in clean engine oil. Then
l
squeeze out excess oil.
Caution
!
If the air filter is not correctly inserted, dust
and foreign particles can enter into the air in-
take channel.

Insert the air filter:
Pull the foam rubber element (5) (Fig. 48) over
l
the paper element (4).
Insert the air filter correctly and tighten it with
l
the wing nut (3).
Reassemble the housing cover (2) with the
l
wing nut (1).
