This is to make connections with the printer. Do not
touch the connector directly with your hands.
b b b b LAN Connector
This connector is for connecting a 10Base-T/
100Base-TX LAN cable.
c c c c Status Lamp

This lamp indicates the status of the network board.
If the lamp is blinking when the LAN cable is
disconnected, it indicates a malfunction in the
network board.
Installing the Network Board
Install the network board in the expansion board slot on the printer in the following
procedure.
CAUTION
•
Be sure that the printer is OFF, and that all interface cables and power cable are
disconnected when installing a network board. Replacing with the power ON or
cables and wires connected may result in an electrical shock.
•
Be careful when handling the network board. Touching the edges or the sharp
portion of the network board may result in personal injuries.

The Power lamp illuminates when the printer is ON.
If the lamp does not illuminate when the printer is
ON, it indicates a malfunction in the network board.

Indicates the MAC address for this network board.
